Do I need a lightbox, a tripod or a proper camera?
No. A phone photo taken on a table by a window is enough. Two or three angles of the same product give the best results because they show the app more of the packaging.
How long does one photo take?
Usually 20 to 30 seconds per image. Your very first photo takes a few minutes longer, because you add your product and pick a scene first. The progress bar is paced by real recent render times rather than a fake counter.
Is BrandStills free?
BrandStills is free to install and includes starter credits. After that, you can subscribe for monthly credits or buy a one-time credit pack, no subscription required. Pack credits never expire. One credit makes one photo. Each edit creates a new photo, so it also uses one credit. Renders that fail do not use credits.
Can I use the photos commercially, on Etsy, Shopify or Amazon?
Yes. Photos you generate from your own product images are yours to use in your listings, ads and social posts. You are responsible for holding the rights to the product photos you upload.
